Yes. You can contact us directly and arrange home help privately – you do not need a referral from your GP or the council. Family members can also contact us on your behalf.

We can usually start your home help service within 24 hours once we have the information and paperwork we need to get you started. If your situation is urgent, speak to our team and we’ll do our best to get everything arranged quickly.

Yes. We will discuss the days and times that work best for you and build your visits around your routine wherever possible. If your needs change, just speak to us and we will do our best to adjust your visits.

Wherever possible, yes. We believe having a familiar face helps build trust, confidence and companionship, so we aim to provide consistency rather than sending someone different each time.

Our home helpers are carefully recruited and checked before working with clients. This includes appropriate DBS checks, two references, training and ongoing support, helping us provide a safe and reliable service.

Our standard Home Help rate is £24.70 per hour, with some packages available from £23.70 per hour. Weekend visits are charged at an additional £2 per hour. We’ll explain the exact cost before your service starts, so you know what to expect.

No. Our home help service is designed to be flexible, so you are not tied into a long-term commitment. Visits can be changed or stopped in line with our service terms.

Absolutely. Many families contact us to arrange support for a parent, relative or loved one. We are happy to talk through what support may be helpful and, with the person’s agreement where appropriate, arrange the next steps together.
